Croesyceiliog Cricket and Rugby Club

Croesyceiliog RFC, founded in 1881, is locally known as the Cockerels, a nod to the club's crest.  They joined the Welsh Rugby Union in 1976 and won the Ben Francis Cup in May 2016 for the third time after a 22-year gap. Currently, the 1st XV is in Division 2 East of the National Leagues. The club also supports a youth team and mini and junior section running teams from Under 6s to Under 16s, emphasizing investment in young players and promoting the future of the club.
